Metalwork shop ensured uninterrupted operation
In December, a single-girder general-purpose crane was purchased for the assembly and welding section of the metalwork shop. The novelty came for the aid to a crane with a five-ton capacity, making it possible to significantly increase the efficiency of the workshop. Until recently, it was the only crane to serve three operations at once: rolling, plasma cutting and sheet bending. And the need to observe the sequence of work led to a decrease in the speed of working of the entire area.
Now the movement of metal structures, spare parts and other goods in the assembly and welding section became much faster. As the new crane, besides that fact that it is in work now, has twice the carrying capacity and is equipped with a wireless control system.
