KMBA, JSC manufactured and supplied contact vats on UMMC

30.10.2018 | News of the company
For the Buribaevsky mining and processing plant, the part of UMMC (Republic of Bashkortostan), the Kyshtym machine-builders manufactured and supplied contact vats KCh-3,15KM and KCh-1.0KM. The capacitive equipment was supplied as part of the reagent compartment modernization program implemented at the processing plant.

Contact vats are designed for the preparation of working compositions of chemical reagents (xanthates, copper and zinc vitriol, sodium sulphide, flocculant), for the mixing of slurries with reagents before the flotation process and also for the storage of various liquid and emulsion. The equipment ensures the continuity of the technological process, increases the efficiency of flotation (due to obtaining pulp with the same composition and uniform density throughout the volume of the vat), and reduces the use of chemical reagents.

Specifically, within the framework of this order, Kyshtym manufacturers equipped contact vats with bunkers with dosing devices, which make it possible to fill up large doses of reagent and control its consumption.
With the new vats, the raw material company plans to increase the ore processing capacity this year to 330 thousand tons, and by 2020 - to 400 thousand tons.
Kyshtym Machine Building Association (a part of the KANEX group) has been cooperating with the UMMC since 2008. For 10 years, the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company has received about 2,000 units of production from the machine builders.
